The Inspiration Behind Unlimited Elements
Our journey with Unlimited Elements started from a personal passion for widgets, way back when we were building websites ourselves. As a designer in college, I was obsessed with creating widget designs, and sharing them on Dribbble to get feedback from the community. This passion led us to build a standalone plugin that allowed users to create their own widgets. After getting feedback from early buyers, we saw a clear demand for a pre-built widget library, sparking our mission to build an all-in-one, powerful, and convenient package for Elementor users.
Driven by Your Feedback: Community-Centric Development
Every feature we add, every widget we design, is driven by you—the community. We’re constantly inspired by the feature requests we receive, and our goal is to make Unlimited Elements a dynamic, ever-growing toolkit packed with features that users actually need. Developers love it for our unique Widget Creator Framework, allowing even those with basic CSS knowledge to fork or adjust any widget. Designers are equally passionate about the plugin, finding it unmatched in flexibility and creativity, breaking away from that ‘template feel’ found in so many plugins.
When we build major features, we think big. For instance, adding multi-source compatibility in one update allowed all item-based widgets to use multiple sources. It’s this holistic approach that has made Unlimited Elements so popular among creatives and developers alike.
Recent Milestones: Mastering AJAX Live Filters
Over the past year, we set an ambitious goal to create the best solution for AJAX live filters. These filters now seamlessly integrate with all post widgets and any multi-source widget when using posts as the source. We improved filter behavior and introduced new options, like price range and color swatches filters, alongside mobile-friendly off-canvas filters. And, of course, we added active filter displays and a clear filter button to make filtering as user-friendly as possible. With even more filters on the horizon, we’re excited to keep pushing this feature forward!
Personal Favorites: Remote Controls & Sync Widgets
One of my favorite features is the remote controls we’ve integrated for sliders, carousels, and accordions. Paired with the sync widgets option, these tools allow anyone to create advanced layouts that were previously possible only with high-end developers. Today, thanks to Unlimited Elements, even beginners can build stunning, professional websites—and the time-saving copy-paste functionality brings that magic directly from our site to yours.
Always Listening to Your Ideas
With over 300 widgets, you might think there’s little left to add—but our users never stop surprising us with new ideas! We get daily requests for new widgets and integrations, and our weekly meetings are dedicated to reviewing and prioritizing the most common requests. Sometimes, we even poll our Facebook community to stay aligned with what you need most.
A Year of Growth: 300K Active Installs
Hitting 300,000+ active installations is a huge milestone for us—this year alone, we grew by 100,000 users! That means every 5.3 minutes, someone new is installing Unlimited Elements. It’s incredible to think how far we’ve come and it motivates us even more to reach the next milestone.
Looking Forward to 400K and Beyond
Our goal for the next year is to reach 400,000 active installations, but numbers alone aren’t our focus. Our true priority is to maintain top-notch quality, providing unique, real-world solutions that address our users’ needs and challenges.
