WhatsApp Chat allows your website visitors to start a conversation from your Elementor website directly to your WhatsApp phone number with just one click.
Install WhatsApp Chat Widget for Elementor #
This widget requires Unlimited Elements pro version installed and activated on your WordPress website.
- Go to Unlimited Elements Widget Library
- Search in the search bar for “Whatsapp Chat”
- Hover over the widget in the search results and click install
- Add your Whatsapp Chat widget to any Elementor Page
- Position the Whatsapp widget in your page by going to the advanced tab and under positioning selected “Fixed Position”
General Settings #
Type
Choose from four diffrent types of WhatsApp Chat buttons. Each type has its own behaviour:
- Send Button With Message
- Agents List
- Agents With Specific Message
- Only Button (No Popup)
Placement
Determines how the popup window will open relative to the place of the button.
Intro Text
The text that will show in the popup window as an intro.
Phone
The Whatsapp phone number you want to send a message to.
Send Button Text
The button a user clicks to send his message to the Whatsapp number defined.
Open By Default
If the popup window will be open without needing to click the button when a user visits the page.
Cache State
Dictates whether the chat widget will be opened by default on subsequent pages even if the user has already closed the chat widget once.
Cache Expiry
The expiration of the cache in minutes: Default is 24 hours.
Show Button Label
Add a label to the call to action Whatsapp button.
Button Label
Text for the label.
Button Layout
Determine if the text will be first or the icon.
Icon Settings #
Button Icon
The icon for the main call to action button.
Popup Icon
The icon that shows in the title of the popup.
Popup Close Icon
Will trigger the popup to close when clicked on.
Send Icon
The icon for the send button inside of the popup.
Message Settings #
Show Message Input
Determine if to show a text area for users to type in a custom message or add a predefined message.
Message Text
The text that will show as default text in the text area shown inside of the popup.
Message Placeholder
The text that will be shown in the text area if no message text inside.
Agents Settings #
Title
Usually used for the agent name.
Subtitle
Usually used for the agent description.
Image
Profile image for specific agent.
WhatsApp Number
The Whatsapp phone number that the message will be sent to.
Default Message
A default message for the text area of the specific agent.
Message Placeholder
The text area placeholder when the button type is "Agents with message"
Available Hours
Add a note to hint to users when the agent is available or not.
