With the help of his old partner Ned Logan and a young man known only as “The Schofield Kid,” William Munny, a retired Old West gunslinger, takes on one last job. The job involves killing two cowboys who mutilated a prostitute in the town of Big Whiskey. Despite his reluctance to return to his violent past, Munny agrees to take the job for the money it will provide for his children. Munny and his companions face many challenges and obstacles along the way, including the wrath of the town’s sheriff and his deputies. In the end, Munny successfully completes the job but realizes that his violent past will always haunt him.
