This step-by-step guide will show you how to add a simple, interactive Content Toggle block to your WordPress site using the Unlimited Elements Blocks Library. The Content Toggle block is highly flexible, perfect for hiding supplemental details, lengthy descriptions, or optional content, and works directly inside the native WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) – no coding required.
Click Download, then in your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the ZIP file.
Click Install Now and then Activate to enable the plugin.
From your WordPress dashboard, go to Unlimited Elements → Blocks Library.
This is where all available blocks are listed and managed.
Use the search bar at the top right and type “Content Toggle”.
The Content Toggle block will appear in the results list.
Hover over the Content Toggle block and click Install.
This adds the block to your available options in the editor.
Open any page or post using the WordPress block editor.
Click the (+) Add Block button, search for “Content Toggle”, and insert it into the page.
Once added, select the Content Toggle block and use the settings panel on the right. Insert the Content to be toggled, and customize the Text for the “Show Content” and “Hide Content” buttons. Define the Initial State (Open/Closed by Default). Customize the Styling for the Button Background and Typography (Normal and Hover states), Content Panel Background and Padding, and Animation Speed to create a functional, visually appealing, and space-saving content control element that fits your site’s design.
