This step-by-step guide will show you how to add an interactive Remote Link block to your WordPress site using the Unlimited Elements Blocks Library. The Remote Link block is highly flexible, perfect for driving users to specific content, creating featured navigation elements, or building complex interactive layouts, and works directly inside the native WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) – no coding required.
Click Download, then in your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the ZIP file.
Click Install Now and then Activate to enable the plugin.
From your WordPress dashboard, go to Unlimited Elements → Blocks Library.
This is where all available blocks are listed and managed.
Use the search bar at the top right and type “Remote Link”.
The Remote Link block will appear in the results list.
Hover over the Remote Link block and click Install.
This adds the block to your available options in the editor.
Open any page or post using the WordPress block editor.
Click the (+) Add Block button, search for “Remote Link”, and insert it into the page.
Once added, select the Remote Link block and use the settings panel on the right. Set the unique Connection ID to link to your target content block, define the Target Index (the tab/slide number to activate), and enter the Link Text/Icon. Choose the Link Type (Button/Text/Icon). Customize the Styling for the Link/Button Background and Text Typography (Normal and Hover states), Border Radius, and Icon Size/Color to create a functional, visually appealing content trigger that fits your site’s design.
