This step-by-step guide will show you how to add an interactive Remote Scroll block to your WordPress site using the Unlimited Elements Blocks Library. The Remote Scroll block is highly flexible, perfect for adding smooth scrolling navigation between sections of a page, moving to specific slides within a carousel, and works directly inside the native WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) – no coding required.
Click Download, then in your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the ZIP file.
Click Install Now and then Activate to enable the plugin.
From your WordPress dashboard, go to Unlimited Elements → Blocks Library.
This is where all available blocks are listed and managed.
Use the search bar at the top right and type “Remote Scroll”.
The Remote Scroll block will appear in the results list.
Hover over the Remote Scroll block and click Install.
This adds the block to your available options in the editor.
Open any page or post using the WordPress block editor.
Click the (+) Add Block button, search for “Remote Scroll ”, and insert it into the page.
Once added, select the Remote Scroll block and use the settings panel on the right. Set the unique Connection ID to link to your target content, define the Target Index or Section Anchor ID to scroll to, and set the Scroll Speed. Enter the Link Text/Icon and choose the Link Type (Button/Text/Icon). Customize the Styling for the Link/Button Background and Text Typography (Normal and Hover states), Border Radius, and the Fixed Position setting to create a functional, visually appealing navigation trigger that fits your site’s design.
