This step-by-step guide will show you how to add a clean, dedicated WordPress Menu block to your WordPress site using the Unlimited Elements Blocks Library. The WordPress Menu block is highly flexible, perfect for placing primary or secondary navigation anywhere on your site, allowing for centralized control over link structure, and works directly inside the native WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) – no coding required.
Click Download, then in your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the ZIP file.
Click Install Now and then Activate to enable the plugin.
From your WordPress dashboard, go to Unlimited Elements → Blocks Library.
This is where all available blocks are listed and managed.
Use the search bar at the top right and type “WordPress Menu”.
The WordPress Menu block will appear in the results list.
Hover over the WordPress Menu block and click Install.
This adds the block to your available options in the editor.
Open any page or post using the WordPress block editor.
Click the (+) Add Block button, search for “WordPress Menu”, and insert it into the page.
Once added, select the WordPress Menu block and use the settings panel on the right. Select the Existing Menu to display, choose the Layout Orientation (Horizontal/Vertical), and define the Sub-Menu Behavior (Trigger/Animation). Customize the Styling for the Top-Level Link Typography and Spacing, Sub-Menu Dropdown Background, and the visual highlight for the Active Link State to create a functional, visually appealing navigation system that fits your site’s design.
