This step-by-step guide will show you how to add Accordion Filters to your WordPress site using the Unlimited Elements Blocks Library. The Accordion Filters block is highly flexible, perfect for organizing multiple filter types (like Checkboxes, Select Dropdowns, and Price Range) into collapsible sections, saving screen space, especially on mobile devices, and works directly inside the native WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) – no coding required.
Click Download, then in your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the ZIP file.
Click Install Now and then Activate to enable the plugin.
From your WordPress dashboard, go to Unlimited Elements → Blocks Library.
This is where all available blocks are listed and managed.
Use the search bar at the top right and type “Accordion Filters”.
The Accordion Filters block will appear in the results list.
Hover over the Accordion Filters block and click Install.
This adds the block to your available options in the editor.
Open any page or post using the WordPress block editor.
Click the (+) Add Block button, search for “Accordion Filters”, and insert it into the page.
Once added, select the Accordion Filters block and use the settings panel on the right. Adjust the Initial State and Toggle Behavior (Single/Multiple Open), choose the Target Widget Name to connect to the content, and control the visibility of the Clear All Button. Customize the Styling for the Header Background, Content Body, and Expand/Collapse Icons to create a structured, visually appealing filter system that fits your site’s design.
