This step-by-step guide will show you how to add a versatile Badge (a small, eye-catching label or tag) to your WordPress site using the Unlimited Elements Blocks Library. The Badge block is highly flexible, perfect for highlighting statuses (e.g., "New," "Sale," "Best Seller"), drawing attention to specific content, and works directly inside the native WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) – no coding required.
Click Download, then in your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the ZIP file.
Click Install Now and then Activate to enable the plugin.
From your WordPress dashboard, go to Unlimited Elements → Blocks Library.
This is where all available blocks are listed and managed.
Use the search bar at the top right and type “Badge”.
The Badge block will appear in the results list.
Hover over the Badge block and click Install.
This adds the block to your available options in the editor.
Open any page or post using the WordPress block editor.
Click the (+) Add Block button, search for “Badge”, and insert it into the page.
Once added, select the Badge block and use the settings panel on the right. Enter the Badge Text, choose the Placement (Top Left, Center, etc.) and Shape (Rounded, Pill, Ribbon), and control the visibility of the optional Link and Icon. Customize the Styling for the Background Color, Text Color, Typography, and Padding to create a functional, visually appealing highlight label that fits your site’s design.
