This step-by-step guide will show you how to add a clean, minimal Compact Gallery block to your WordPress site using the Unlimited Elements Blocks Library. The Compact Gallery block is highly flexible, perfect for saving vertical space, displaying a small series of images, or showing an image list, and works directly inside the native WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) – no coding required.
Click Download, then in your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the ZIP file.
Click Install Now and then Activate to enable the plugin.
From your WordPress dashboard, go to Unlimited Elements → Blocks Library.
This is where all available blocks are listed and managed.
Use the search bar at the top right and type “Compact Gallery”.
The Compact Gallery block will appear in the results list.
Hover over the Compact Gallery block and click Install.
This adds the block to your available options in the editor.
Open any page or post using the WordPress block editor.
Click the (+) Add Block button, search for “Compact Gallery”, and insert it into the page.
Once added, select the Compact Gallery block and use the settings panel on the right. Upload your Images and set the optional Captions or Titles. Define the Display Type and the Initial Visible Count. Enable the optional Lightbox effect. Customize the Styling for the Container Background and Border, Thumbnail Border Radius and Spacing, Caption Typography, and Hover Effects to create a functional, visually appealing, and space-efficient image display that fits your site’s design.
