This step-by-step guide will show you how to add a clean, interactive Content Switcher block to your WordPress site using the Unlimited Elements Blocks Library. The Content Switcher block is highly flexible, perfect for organizing comparisons (e.g., Annual vs. Monthly pricing), showing feature variations, or offering a two-view content presentation, and works directly inside the native WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) – no coding required.
Click Download, then in your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the ZIP file.
Click Install Now and then Activate to enable the plugin.
From your WordPress dashboard, go to Unlimited Elements → Blocks Library.
This is where all available blocks are listed and managed.
Use the search bar at the top right and type “Content Switcher”.
The Content Switcher block will appear in the results list.
Hover over the Content Switcher block and click Install.
This adds the block to your available options in the editor.
Open any page or post using the WordPress block editor.
Click the (+) Add Block button, search for “Content Switcher”, and insert it into the page.
Once added, select the Content Switcher block and use the settings panel on the right. Set the Label Text for the First State and Second State, and insert the respective Content into the two content areas. Define the Initial Active State and choose the Switch Type. Customize the Styling for the Switch Container Background, Active Switch Handle Color, Label Typography (Normal and Active states), Content Area Background, and Animation Speed to create a functional, visually appealing two-state content presentation that fits your site’s design.
