This step-by-step guide will show you how to add dynamic hover-triggered videos to your WordPress site using the Video on Hover Block from the Unlimited Elements Blocks Library. The Video on Hover block is easy to use, fully customizable, and works directly inside the native WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) – no coding required.
Click Download, then in your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the ZIP file.
Click Install Now and then Activate to enable the plugin.
From your WordPress dashboard, go to Unlimited Elements → Blocks Library.
This is where all available blocks are listed and managed.
Use the search bar at the top right and type “Video on Hover”.
The Video on Hover block will appear in the results list.
Hover over the Video on Hover block and click Install.
This adds the block to your available options in the editor.
Open any page or post using the WordPress block editor.
Click the (+) Add Block button, search for “Video on Hover”, and insert it into the page.
Once added, select the Video on Hover block and use the settings panel on the right. Upload your video, adjust hover playback settings, size, overlay effects, and alignment to create a dynamic, interactive experience that fits your site’s design.
