This step-by-step guide will show you how to add a free Hotspots block to your WordPress site using the Unlimited Elements Blocks Library. The Hotspots block is easy to use, fully customizable, and allows you to add interactive markers on any image directly inside the native WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) – no coding required.
Click Download, then in your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the ZIP file.
Click Install Now and then Activate to enable the plugin.
From your WordPress dashboard, go to Unlimited Elements → Blocks Library.
This is where all available blocks are listed and managed.
Use the search bar at the top right and type “Hotspots”.
The Hotspots block will appear in the results list.
Hover over the Hotspots block and click Install.
This adds the block to your available options in the editor.
Open any page or post using the WordPress block editor.
Click the (+) Add Block button, search for “Hotspots”, and insert it into the page.
Once added, select the Hotspots block and use the settings panel on the right. Upload your image, add new hotspot markers, adjust the Horizontal and Vertical Placement (%) for each marker, and customize the marker color, size, ripple effect, and tooltip text to create an interactive image map that highlights key features on your site.
