This step-by-step guide will show you how to add Post Navigation to your WordPress site using the Unlimited Elements Blocks Library. The Post Navigation block is highly flexible, perfect for allowing users to move seamlessly between the previous and next post within a single post template, enhancing content discovery, and works directly inside the native WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) – no coding required.
Click Download, then in your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the ZIP file.
Click Install Now and then Activate to enable the plugin.
From your WordPress dashboard, go to Unlimited Elements → Blocks Library.
This is where all available blocks are listed and managed.
Use the search bar at the top right and type “Post Navigation”.
The Post Navigation block will appear in the results list.
Hover over the Post Navigation block and click Install.
This adds the block to your available options in the editor.
Open any page or post using the WordPress block editor.
Click the (+) Add Block button, search for “Post Navigation”, and insert it into the page.
Once added, select the Post Navigation block and use the settings panel on the right. Adjust the Navigation Context to define the post order, choose the visibility of the Post Title and Arrow Icons, and control the Text Labels for the Previous/Next links. Customize the Styling for the Link Backgrounds, Typography, and Arrow Icons to create a functional, visually appealing navigation system that fits your site’s design.
