This step-by-step guide will show you how to add a Protected Content block to your WordPress site using the Unlimited Elements Blocks Library. The Protected Content block is easy to use, allows you to secure content with a password, and works directly inside the native WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) – no coding required.
Click Download, then in your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the ZIP file.
Click Install Now and then Activate to enable the plugin.
From your WordPress dashboard, go to Unlimited Elements → Blocks Library.
This is where all available blocks are listed and managed.
Use the search bar at the top right and type “Protected Content”.
The Protected Content block will appear in the results list.
Hover over the Protected Content block and click Install.
This adds the block to your available options in the editor.
Open any page or post using the WordPress block editor.
Click the (+) Add Block button, search for “Protected Content”, and insert it into the page.
Once added, select the Protected Content block and use the settings panel on the right. Set the Protection Type enter the required Password or its SHA-256 hash, and customize the Error Message and the appearance of the title and input field using the Styling options to create a secure, on-brand content gate that fits your site’s design.
