This step-by-step guide will show you how to add a dynamic Remote Arrows block to your WordPress site using the Unlimited Elements Blocks Library. The Remote Arrows block is highly flexible, perfect for separating the navigation controls from the display area, creating unique layout designs, and works directly inside the native WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) – no coding required.
Click Download, then in your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the ZIP file.
Click Install Now and then Activate to enable the plugin.
From your WordPress dashboard, go to Unlimited Elements → Blocks Library.
This is where all available blocks are listed and managed.
Use the search bar at the top right and type “Remote Arrows”.
The Remote Arrows block will appear in the results list.
Hover over the Remote Arrows block and click Install.
This adds the block to your available options in the editor.
Open any page or post using the WordPress block editor.
Click the (+) Add Block button, search for “Remote Arrows”, and insert it into the page.
Once added, select the Remote Arrows block and use the settings panel on the right. Set the unique Connection ID to link to your target Carousel/Slider, choose the Arrow Icon Type, and define the Navigation Action (Previous/Next) for each arrow. Customize the Styling for the Arrow Icon Size and Color (Normal and Hover states), Container Background, and optional Tooltips to create a functional, visually appealing external navigation system that fits your site’s design.
