This step-by-step guide will show you how to add a dynamic Remote Bullets block (a system that uses external dots or pagination controls to navigate a carousel or slider) to your WordPress site using the Unlimited Elements Blocks Library. The Remote Bullets block is highly flexible, perfect for separating pagination controls from the display area, creating unique layout designs, and works directly inside the native WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) – no coding required.
Click Download, then in your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the ZIP file.
Click Install Now and then Activate to enable the plugin.
From your WordPress dashboard, go to Unlimited Elements → Blocks Library.
This is where all available blocks are listed and managed.
Use the search bar at the top right and type “Remote Bullets”.
The Remote Bullets block will appear in the results list.
Hover over the Remote Bullets block and click Install.
This adds the block to your available options in the editor.
Open any page or post using the WordPress block editor.
Click the (+) Add Block button, search for “Remote Bullets”, and insert it into the page.
Once added, select the Remote Bullets block and use the settings panel on the right. Set the unique Connection ID to link to your target Carousel/Slider, choose the Bullet Shape and Orientation (Horizontal/Vertical), and define the Number of Bullets. Customize the Styling for the Bullet Size, Background Color (Normal and Active states), Spacing, and optional Tooltips to create a functional, visually appealing external pagination system that fits your site’s design.
