This step-by-step guide will show you how to add a dynamic Remote Play Pause block to your WordPress site using the Unlimited Elements Blocks Library. The Remote Play Pause block is highly flexible, perfect for giving users control over continuous content movement, enhancing accessibility, and works directly inside the native WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) – no coding required.
Click Download, then in your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the ZIP file.
Click Install Now and then Activate to enable the plugin.
From your WordPress dashboard, go to Unlimited Elements → Blocks Library.
This is where all available blocks are listed and managed.
Use the search bar at the top right and type “Remote Play Pause”.
The Remote Play Pause block will appear in the results list.
Hover over the Remote Play Pause block and click Install.
This adds the block to your available options in the editor.
Open any page or post using the WordPress block editor.
Click the (+) Add Block button, search for “Remote Play Pause”, and insert it into the page.
Once added, select the Remote Play Pause block and use the settings panel on the right. Set the unique Connection ID to link to your target Carousel/Slider, choose the Play Icon and Pause Icon, and set the Initial Icon to reflect the slider’s starting state. Customize the Styling for the Button Background and Padding (Normal and Hover states), Icon Size and Color, and the visual changes for the Active (Playing) State to create a functional, visually appealing control element that fits your site’s design.
