This step-by-step guide will show you how to add a Scroll Marquee to your WordPress site using the Unlimited Elements Blocks Library. The Scroll Marquee Block creates a smooth, continuous horizontal (or vertical) scrolling area that’s perfect for headlines, announcements, sponsor logos, client lists, or rotating testimonials. With configurable speed, direction, spacing, and pause-on-hover behavior, it lets you present repeating content in a compact, attention-grabbing way and it works directly inside the native WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) with no coding required.
Click Download, then in your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the ZIP file.
Click Install Now and then Activate to enable the plugin.
From your WordPress dashboard, go to Unlimited Elements → Blocks Library.
This is where all available blocks are listed and managed.
Use the search bar at the top right and type “Scroll Marquee”.
The Scroll Marquee block will appear in the results list.
Hover over the Scroll Marquee block and click Install.
This adds the block to your available options in the editor.
Open any page or post using the WordPress block editor.
Click the (+) Add Block button, search for “Scroll Marquee”, and insert it into the page.
Once added, select the Scroll Marquee Block and use the settings panel on the right to customize it. Set your marquee text or images, choose the scroll direction and speed, and enable options like pause on hover or spacing between items. Adjust typography, colors, and background styling to create a smooth, eye-catching marquee that fits your site’s design.
