This step-by-step guide will show you how to add a clean, basic Simple Slider block to your WordPress site using the Unlimited Elements Blocks Library. The Simple Slider block is highly flexible, perfect for showcasing focused content like large images, testimonials, or brief feature highlights in a space-saving format, and works directly inside the native WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) – no coding required.
Click Download, then in your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the ZIP file.
Click Install Now and then Activate to enable the plugin.
From your WordPress dashboard, go to Unlimited Elements → Blocks Library.
This is where all available blocks are listed and managed.
Use the search bar at the top right and type “Simple Slider”.
The Simple Slider block will appear in the results list.
Hover over the Simple Slider block and click Install.
This adds the block to your available options in the editor.
Open any page or post using the WordPress block editor.
Click the (+) Add Block button, search for “Simple Slider”, and insert it into the page.
Once added, select the Simple Slider block and use the settings panel on the right. Add or remove Individual Slides and insert Content (images, text, other blocks) into each slide. Set the Autoplay Speed and define the Transition Type (Slide/Fade). Control the visibility of the Navigation Arrows and Pagination Dots. Customize the Styling for the Slide Background and Padding, Navigation Button Colors, Pagination Dot Style, and Fixed Height to create a functional, visually appealing, and space-saving content display that fits your site’s design.
