This step-by-step guide will show you how to add a Taxonomy Terms list or grid to your WordPress site using the Unlimited Elements Blocks Library. The Taxonomy Terms block is incredibly versatile, perfect for showcasing categories, tags, or custom post type taxonomies in an attractive, organized way, and it works directly inside the native WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) – no coding required.
Click Download, then in your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the ZIP file.
Click Install Now and then Activate to enable the plugin.
From your WordPress dashboard, go to Unlimited Elements → Blocks Library.
This is where all available blocks are listed and managed.
Use the search bar at the top right and type “Taxonomy Terms”.
The Taxonomy Terms block will appear in the results list.
Hover over the Taxonomy Terms block and click Install.
This adds the block to your available options in the editor.
Open any page or post using the WordPress block editor.

Select the Taxonomy Terms block and use the right-side settings panel. Adjust the Item Source (categories, tags, or custom taxonomies) and the Order By criteria. Control the visibility of the Term Name and Post Count. Customize the Styling for Term Titles, Item Cards, and Images/Icons to create a functional navigational grid.
