This step-by-step guide will show you how to add a highly customizable Google Map to your WordPress site using the Unlimited Elements Blocks Library. The Unlimited Google Maps block is highly flexible, perfect for displaying single or multiple locations, customizing markers, and applying unique styles, and works directly inside the native WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) – no coding required.
Click Download, then in your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the ZIP file.
Click Install Now and then Activate to enable the plugin.
From your WordPress dashboard, go to Unlimited Elements → Blocks Library.
This is where all available blocks are listed and managed.
Use the search bar at the top right and type “Unlimited Google Maps”.
The Unlimited Google Maps block will appear in the results list.
Hover over the Unlimited Google Maps block and click Install.
This adds the block to your available options in the editor.
Open any page or post using the WordPress block editor.
Click the (+) Add Block button, search for “Unlimited Google Maps”, and insert it into the page.
Once added, select the Unlimited Google Maps block and use the settings panel on the right. Adjust the API Key and Map Type (Roadmap/Satellite), add Map Markers with addresses or coordinates, and control the Zoom Level and Draggable setting. Customize the Styling for the Map Height, Custom Markers, and Map Styles (using JSON code) to create a functional, visually appealing location display that fits your site’s design.
