This step-by-step guide will show you how to add a dynamic WhatsApp Chat button to your WordPress site using the Unlimited Elements Blocks Library. The WhatsApp Chat block is highly flexible, perfect for instantly connecting site visitors with you or your support team via WhatsApp, enhancing customer service and engagement, and works directly inside the native WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) – no coding required.
Click Download, then in your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the ZIP file.
Click Install Now and then Activate to enable the plugin.
From your WordPress dashboard, go to Unlimited Elements → Blocks Library.
This is where all available blocks are listed and managed.
Use the search bar at the top right and type “WhatsApp Chat”.
The WhatsApp Chat block will appear in the results list.
Hover over the WhatsApp Chat block and click Install.
This adds the block to your available options in the editor.
Open any page or post using the WordPress block editor.
Click the (+) Add Block button, search for “WhatsApp Chat”, and insert it into the page.
Once added, select the WhatsApp Chat block and use the settings panel on the right. Adjust the WhatsApp Phone Number and Pre-filled Message for the chat, choose the Display Position (Floating/Inline), and control the visibility on Desktop/Mobile. Customize the Styling for the Button Background, Icon, and Button Text to create a functional, visually appealing customer communication tool that fits your site’s design.
