Initial Post Widget Filtering

To achieve the desired functionality where your Post widget is automatically filtered upon page load, follow these steps:

  1. Post Widget and Filter Widget Setup: Ensure that you have both the Post widget and Filter widget integrated into your web page.

  2. Select Post Query for Initial Filter: In the Post Widget settings, select the specific Post Query that corresponds to the tab or category you want to be preselected and displayed after the page loads. This query should represent the initial filter you wish to apply.

  3. Enable “Override Query Terms” Option: Within the Filter Widget settings, make sure to enable the “Override Query Terms” option.

By following these steps, you will have a Post Widget configured to display posts based on your chosen query immediately upon page load. Additionally, the integration of the Filter Widget will enable users to further refine and filter the displayed posts as needed.
